Harry Potter and the Boring Hallows

Chapter One: Voldemort schemes and behaves badly while sycophants cower and fawn. WTF do these people see in him?

Chapter Two: Harry reads the newspaper, and I fall asleep.

So tell me, does it pick up? Or should I just turn my attention to the next book in my To Read pile?

Ah. Well... yes, it does pick up, but not for a while. The first third to maybe half of the book could have been condensed. It's a bit bloated, really, considering what occurs. If you can slog through it for a while, things do get better. It's definitely not the best Potter book, in my opinion, but it manages to sum up the series nicely.

OK, I'll give it a little more rope.
